Even in small quantities, chili pepper is the protagonist of this tomato sauce. Red Chili Peppers is a typical condiment of the cuisine of Lazio, in particular of the city of Rome. It is associated with a Roman innkeeper who served it for the first time at the beginning of the twentieth century as an alternative to amatriciana without the bacon and with the addition of garlic and spiciness.
